1. Nature of the Platform

fixlin is a connection layer that helps users find independent technical specialists for remote diagnostic and operational guidance. fixlin is a facilitator and does not itself provide the technical service. Specialists are independent and not employees or agents of fixlin.

2. Scope of Service

• We provide remote diagnostic, error-code interpretation, log analysis and step-by-step guidance.
• We do not perform physical hardware repair, replace components, or provide on-site or mail-in service.
• We do not guarantee that any fault will be resolved.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate case information (model, error code, symptoms, media).
• Follow guidance at your own risk; you are responsible for your equipment and any actions taken.
• Do not rely on remote guidance for safety-critical or hazardous situations; seek qualified local service.

4. No Guarantee & Risk Allocation

Remote assessment has inherent limits. Outcomes depend on remotely assessable conditions. You acknowledge that fault resolution is not guaranteed and accept the risk that guidance may not resolve the issue.

5. Quotation & Payment

Quotations are provided after case review and are personalized. Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated in the quotation. Work proceeds only after written confirmation by email.

6. Refunds & Disputes

• Refund eligibility is stated per quotation. Generally, fees for completed evaluation and delivered guidance are non-refundable.
• All material confirmations are made by email; messaging apps are auxiliary only and not the sole record.
• Disputes are handled by the payment provider's process where applicable, supported by email records.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, fixlin and its specialists are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for equipment damage arising from actions you take based on guidance.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
